    Photography 101
    Today's cameras make taking good photos easier than ever. Here are some tips to take your next batch of pics from good to great:

    -Move in close: isolate your subject in the frame so it really pops
    -Take some vertical pictures: don't get stuck in horizontal-only mode
    -Apply the law of thirds: mentally divide the frame into equal thirds and place your subject off-center
    -Great light makes great pictures: for people pictures, the soft lighting of cloudy days is ideal
