Journaling can be an effective tool for stress management and growth--research has proven it. Here are a few tips to help you get started.
-Write every day, but if you skip a day or two, don't give up; just get back to it when you can
-Writing for at least 20 minutes is ideal, but if you only have five minutes, write for five minutes
-Don't worry about being perfect--just getting your thoughts and feelings on paper is the most important thing
