Elephant Pharm classes are taking a winter recess, but you can continue your yoga practice at YogaKula. Strengthen and stretch the body, challenge the mind, open the heart, and align all with grace. Too busy to make a doctor's appointment to get ready for the winter cold and flu season? Stop by and get this year's flu shot for just $25 (proceeds benefit the Sutter Hospice Program, whose nurses will be administering the shots). Preservative-free shots for pregnant women or nursing mothers, $30 and Pneumonia shots are $45. When everyone around you is sniffling, you'll be glad you did. A few important things to know about kids flu shots at Elephant Pharm: 8 years old or under: Little ones should get their flu shtos from a pediatrician. This is because they need two divided doses one month apart, delivered under medical supervision. 9-13 years old: A doctor's note is required, and kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 13-18 years old: Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, doctor's approval not necessary.
