Biography
Samara Freeman, Ph.D., has a doctorate in gastrointestinal physiology and currently works at the University of California-Davis, Department of Food Science & Technology. Dr. Freeman is interested in the duality of gut function – the gut is a first defense against the outside world and concurrently processes and absorbs nutrients.
